John

John Myers CCC-MSLP

John is a speech-language pathologist and co-owner of Center4Speech. John received his Bachelor of Science degree in 2000 and a Master’s in speech-language pathology in 2001 from Duquesne University. He also holds a teaching certificate in speech and language impaired and a K-12 principal certification from California University of Pa. John has worked in a variety of settings including schools, private practice, home health, and nursing facilities. He is currently employed by Midwestern Intermediate Unit 4 providing speech and language services to local school districts. John opened his own private practice in 2004. John brings a wealth of experience focusing on childhood speech including: apraxia, fluency, phonological disorders, language and its correlation to early literacy skills. John works with Autism Spectrum Disorders helping children establishing positive social relationships. John also enjoys working with the adult language population. He is certified through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

GretchenGretchen Myers CCC-MSLP

Gretchen is a speech-language pathologist and co-owner of Center4Speech. Gretchen also received a Bachelor of Science degree in 2000, as well as a Master’s degree in speech-language pathology in 2001 from Duquesne University. She holds a teaching certificate in speech and language impaired. Gretchen has extensive experience working with children ages Birth to 5 who have speech and language impairments, as well as developmental delays. She also has experience with children who have various disorders and syndromes, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. Gretchen has worked in many different types of settings, including Early Intervention classrooms, schools, private clinics and rehabilitation centers, homes, and nursing facilities. Gretchen has 7 years of experience as a diagnostician for Midwestern Intermediate Unit 4. She is certified through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. John and Gretchen are proud parents of two young daughters, Delaney and Aubrey.
